2 weeks to go....
It's going to be my 3rd night shift in a week.... just finished 2 weekend duties... my work schedule is quite exhausting nowadays and that didn't really sit well with hubs...
Considering I have 2 more weeks to go, before my 2nd honeymoon with hubs, I really do not mind slogging now... as my leave will span more than 2 weeks... :)
Our next destination will be Perth, Western Australia... I'm so looking forward to the long rides out to the less urban areas and explore new territories with hubs, who used to live 3 years there during his uni days in Curtin.
We won't be splurging on luxuries as we had done back in Bintan. This time, we'll be doing more backpacking.... which I do not mind... I'm just apprehensive of the drop in temperatures when night time comes, as I don't really take cold temperatures well... unlike hubs.. hope my newly-bought jacket will keep me warm & alive throughout the journey... :)
It's gonna be a back to back adventure with hubs for the whole week, followed by a road trip to Malacca with my family for a shopping spree and food galores... :)
I know it sounds crazy but we're planning on slotting in USS (Universal Studio Singapore) and attending the RSAF Open house which will be hosted on 28th & 29th May 2011, consecutively. We'll see how... Hopefully both hubs and me will be brimming with health to endure the whole gruelling 2 weeks...yet enjoying ourselves to the max! :)
I have finished watching the korean drama,'Secret Garden', which boasts a total of 16 episodes in all... I simply love the twists and turns the 2 main characters have to take in the last few episodes... It was simply heart-wrenching to watch, and I ended up with tear-soaked and mascara-smudged shirt, hubs can't help feeling amused observing my antics... :)
My current read is 'Conversation with ,Mahathir Mohamad',by Dr Tom Plate... just to get nearer to the well-known controversial Malaysian leader... it was very amusing to say the least, yet impressive work...
Here's an OST from the show,'Secret Garden', which I love to bits! Enjoy! :)
Moral of the story: Love transcends wealth, beauty and status quo...
P.S. I can't help noticing both 'My Girlfriend is A Gumiho' & 'Secret Garden' used the story of 'The Little Mermaid' to be an analogy to their romantic relationship between the 2 main characters...
